Relaxation

Doing metaphysical work can be stressful and tiring ,so I’m adding this mix that can be used as a bath or a foot soak to pull stress toxins out of the body.
2 cups of Kosher salt or fine sea salt.
2 cups of Epsom salts
a few drops of Pepermint extract or your favorite essential oil.
Mix salts and fragrence until combined. Store in an airtight container.
Use. for a foot soak disolve 1/2 cup in a pan of hot water.
for a bath  use 1 cup.

History Repeats Itself (Time Sensitive)

It’s only a few days until the second weekend of the Robin Hood Springtime Festival, and you won’t want to miss this one. It’s fantasy and time traveler weekend, a special weekend set aside for elves and trolls and steam punk adventurers.

In addition to the wide assortment of entertainment and fun happening every day of the faire, there’s the Steampunk costume contest on Saturday, May 19^th,  and the special Feast of the Merry (additional advance tickets required) on both Saturday and Sunday

We are otherwise committed on Sunday, but the psychics of Foresight will be there on Saturday, doing Reiki and readings by tarot, palm, I Ching, intuition and dowsing, and our good friend, Adam Latin will be holding down the fort on Sunday. We’ll also be selling copies of “Adventures in Palmistry” and “The Practical Empath”; as well as enjoying the amazing people and experiences you find at a renaissance faire.

Building Beliefs – That Which Does Not Kill Me…

Awhiles back, I was talking about our beliefs. How our beliefs tend to shape the nature of reality around us, for good or ill. How that’s why it’s a good reason to cultivate a more positive mindset, because it tends to manifest a more positive world.

All well and good.

Have you ever noticed though, when you start on any program of improving your own life, how things will go on along well for a while, and then suddenly, usually without warning, obstacles, barriers and challenges to your program start to crop up?

Unexpected commitments. People in need. Illness. Exhaustion.

And you feel like giving up. Maybe just for a while, until you can settle these things that are complicating your life.

This is the moment of Truth…

Sometimes, you will have to stop what you’re doing to straighten things out; but many times, these obstacles and barriers and challenges are only sent to strengthen your resolve, to test your commitment to your dreams and to your new path…

Sometimes, as I said, you may have to stop temporarily. Many times, though, the right thing is to use this time to build energetic muscle - to keep going, even though the going’s hard and even if you need to go at a slower pace

Conan the Barbarian said “That which does not kill me, makes me stronger”

And it’s worth finding the barbarian in you at these times
