To the Renaissance Again! Second Weekend ! (Time Sensitive)

This weekend, the psychics  of Foresight return to the worlds of swords and sorcery.

This is the second of three weekends at the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire from 11:00 – 6:30 (June 17, 18, 25, 26, and July 1and 2) at Warsaw Park at 119 Pulaski Highway in Ansonia, CT

Join us in an interactive fantasy world with combat and romance, entertainment and adventure, shopping and food and much more

Including the psychics of Foresight, of course, doing readings and Reiki and selling Catherine’s books.

Some shows and features will be there every weekend, but some entertainers rotate. This weekend,

Ro-Con 2 Is Almost Here!

This weekend is Ro-Con 2, a new convention celebrating all things Geek and Wonderful; and Foresight will be there.

Ro-Con is a fan run science fiction convention with panels, classes, demonstrations, workshops, vendors and all manner of other good things. We’ll be there doing readings, selling Catherine’s books and teaching classes (Friday, Cathy teaches the Practical Empath, Saturday Starwolf teaches Introduction to Shamanism, and Sunday, Cathy teaches a Touch of Acupressure and Starwolf teaches Warding.)

It’s going to be a good time, but it’ll only get better if you’re there too.

Gear Up! (This Weekend)

The adventure is barrelling down upon us, and it behooves all neo-Victorians to get a move on!

Grab your top hat or don your bustle. The adventure is back this weekend, and Foresight is a part of it.

Find us for plenty of neo- Victorian fun at the Steampunk World’s Faire, May 15th to 17th at the Radisson Hotel Piscataway Somerset in Piscataway, NJ

There’ll be lots of wonders to be  marveled at and delightful things to experience. There’ll be classes and adventures and entertainment and tea.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course. We’ll  be doing readings and Reiki and selling my books

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

I’ll be teaching my Introduction to Palmistry class and Starwolf is Teaching Dowsing with Pendulums and L Rods, as well as the Occult Renaissance of the Victorian era.

Open the Gates into New Lands of Adventure (Time Sensitive)

Are your days getting a bit too mundane and humdrum?

Do you need a little epic adventure in your life?

Have no fear. The adventure is back in a little under two weeks, and Foresight will be a part of it.

The Annual Connecticut Renaissance Faire  is back, running for five amazing weekends on Sept 21, 22, 28, 29, Oct 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20  from 10:30- 6 at it’s new site  at 14 Stott Ave. in Norwich, Ct.

New home, new story. Prepare for the adventure and intrigue of the court of King Henry the VIII.

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll  be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and turkey legs.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

There are lots of lovely experiences that will be there every weekend, but there are also different special events that only happen on one weekend or one day, so you’ll want to check the website for the festival to decide when you want to come. (There’s so many interesting options, you may need to come more than once…)

Find Foresight at Connecticut Pagan Pride Day (This Saturday)

This Saturday is Connecticut Pagan Pride Day from 10-6 at the VFW in Berlin, CT, and Foresight will be there. Pagan pride days are held throughout the country as a way for pagans to come together and for non-pagans to learn more about people who follow these special spiritual paths.

There’ll be lots of great vendors there and interesting classes, as well as a group ritual at 1:30 pm that everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is just the donation of a non perishable food item for the Berlin Food Bank and/ or pet supplies for the Connecticut Humane Society. (check the website for a list of items that are needed).

Foresight will be there, doing readings and selling Cathy’s books. Starwolf will be one of the day’s teachers and will be teaching a class on ”Practical Grounding and Centering” at 11:30.

The Gates Between the Worlds are Closing…

… but there’s still one final weekend to visit the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire. And it looks like the weather will be good for traveling into enchantment.

Yesterday, I posted a link to the schedule for entertainment on Saturday, with its extended hours and late night show. Today, we offer you the final Sunday- still crammed full of more entertainment than you can do in a day.

Cry Havoc! and Let Slip the Dogs of War(and Fun)- at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival

That’s two weekends gone and only one more to go at this year’s  Robin Hood Springtime Festival from May 18- June 2 at 111 Lovers Lane in Guilford, Ct – and this one is going to be a grand one.

It’s Pet Weekend at the faire, and all of the cool cats and dogs will be there with their owners, shopping, catching a show or two and enjoying all of the fun of a festival in medieval England.

As if that were not enough, the faire welcomes  Empty Hats and Merry Mischief , two musical groups that will get your toes tapping, and the Neville Company, a historical re-enactment of life on a 15th century battlefield. That’s in addition to the talents of the Iron Hill Vagabonds, Hopeless Romantics, the sword swallowing Jamie Fox, the indescribable Gabriel Q and a host of other entertainment

Not to mention Robin Hood and his merry men.

In addition to entertainment most marvelous, you’ll also find amazing food at the faire and shopping the likes of which has been seldom seen- including the psychics of Foresight offering readings, Reiki and my books for your delectation

The Celts Aren’t Coming! (but there’s lots of other cool things happening) at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival (Time Sensitive)

A Highland invasion was rumored for the opening weekend of the Robin Hood Springtime festival, but alas, that is not to be.

Darn it! I love a man in a kilt (specifically my husband, but that’s another story..)

But despite the shortage of Celtic compeititions, there is plenty of other good stuff to be had this weekend at the faire. Sunday is the Robin and Marion Look Alike contest- dress like Robin Hood or Maid Marion and you might win. This weekend, Skarazula is  Castle Stage Music and it’s Open stage on Nottingham Ale Music. And there’s favorites like the Iron Hill Vagabonds, the Hopeless Romantics or Johnny Fox Sword Swallower to amaze and amuse you.

not to mention Robin Hood and his Merry Men….

The psychics of Foresight will be there doing readings and Reiki, selling my books, and enjoying the fun of a really good faire.

There are many good things that you’ll find on every day of the faire, but there are also certain things that you will only find on certain days or weekends.

And Now Foresight Goes on Quest to Hudson Valley Mayfaire (Time Sensitive)

It’s almost here!

This weekend, it’s the Hudson Valley Mayfaire, May 11 and 12th at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz, NY

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll  be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and faire food.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course. We’ll be there, doing Reiki and readings by tarot, palm, I Ching, intuition and dowsing. We’ll also be selling copies of  all four of Catherine’s books, and offering a free mini-class on doing your own readings during the noon time hour.
