Rune Magick 4

The next step is involves “Redding”. Fill in each Rune with red paint (acrylic is best), chanting the Rune as you do. Set aside to dry.
Finally, with a sterile pin or diabetic testing lancet, prick your finger and rub a small amount of blood into each Rune once again, chanting the rune as you do.
You are now finished.

Next you have to decide what Runes you need to use. For example, for a healing charm I might use Brekano (change and transformation ) and Uraz (primeval strength) . You can scribe the in a line (called a Rune Stave or Staff ) or you ca combine them into what is called a Bind Rune in which the Runes are combined into a single shape.

Rune Magick – Pt. 1

I realized that while I have given (some) of the Magickal meanings and uses for the Runes that some of you may not the procedure for using to create talismans or cast spells.
First, Runes were meant to carved or cut as opposed to written, hence the straight lines .
Second, you need a base material to cut or carve the runes on. So, wood, stone, bone, Plaster of Paris, or acrylic clay (Fimo or Sculpty).
Third, you need a scriber, knife, chisel, Dremel tool, or awl.
Finally, you need red acrylic paint and a sterile needle or a diabetic testing lancet.

Runes – Final Thoughts

This completes the series on the Runes . Properly combined and empowered, they can be used to heal, divine the future , and basically affect the fabric of reality.

Runes 37

The next, and final, Rune is “Gar”. It’s sound is “G”, and it’s meaning is Spear or Destruction.
Magickally, its use should be pretty obvious, contacting Odin whose spear it represents. It can also be used in defensive Magick to repel incoming Magick.
