The next, and final, Rune is “Gar”. It’s sound is “G”, and it’s meaning is Spear or Destruction.
Magickally, its use should be pretty obvious, contacting Odin whose spear it represents. It can also be used in defensive Magick to repel incoming Magick.

Tonight I am going to discuss the  mystical/supernatural origin of the Runes, as opposed to the linguistic/anthropological theories of their origins.
So here goes ….
” Odin the king of the gods on his eternal quest for knowledge hung  himself from Yggdrasil the great Ash Tree at the center of the Nine worlds . For 3 days he hung there, pierced by his spear Gungnir. Sacrificed to himself. After the 3 days, he recived a Vision of the Runes. Grasped them he did and he fell back screaming into the World bringing the knowledge with Him.”
Till next time.
