One More Glorious Weekend in the Renaissance Coming Up

Well, my fine lords and ladies, there have been two wonderful weekends in the renaissance at the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire–

and there’s only one left for your delight. So you’d best get your medieval on and come this weekend if you want to party with the peasants or frolic with the Fae.

There’s too many good things at this faire to list on this blog, so lets just sample a few. Performers like Daniel Greenwolf, Katie Kat, Tribal de Luna and Crime and Punishment. Children’s games. Faire food and drink. Shopping amongst an assortment of vendors, many offering items you won’t find anywhere else.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course….

And there’s not just scheduled events at a faire. You never know what might happen. For instance, last weekend, Blackmoors Knight showed up and played (and that is something special indeed…)

A Renaissance faire is a full day of immersive theatre and entertainment for one admission. And, for a small additional fee ( $5 w/ your day pass or $10 if you just come for the evening), you can stay for the evening fire show, this week featuring Daniel Greenwolf, Hvbris, Wyck, Jacques ze Whipper and Paolo Garbanzo. This is an amazing collection of talent all in one place at one time for you.

So leave the TV behind, swash your buckles and lace your bodice and come on out to Warsaw Park in Ansonia, CT for a day of live entertainment where you can be part of the story.

Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire’s Saturday Night Shows (Time Sensitive)

This just in! :)….

In addition to Midsummer Fantasy renaissance faire’s full day of enchanted activities, the faire will be offering special nighttime shows on the Saturday nights of the faire.

We’ve been waiting with bated breath to hear what the shows will be, and information on the first Saturday night extravaganza is out. This Saturday night (6/18/11) will be the Saturday Improv Fire Show of Kookiness, starring Jaques the Whipper, Daniel GreenWolf, Wyck, and George Bogorad.

Information on the other two shows is still a mystery, and we’ll let you know it when we get it.

If this sounds like your kind of excitement, tickets are on sale online or at the gate for $10 for just the evening show, or $5 with day admission.
