Once you have set up your first set of wards, you can expand the number of circles around your space. Say one inside your house, the next immediately outside , and a third at the perimeter of your property. This corresponds to the military principle of “Defense in Depth”.

In addition to the clear Quartz, you may want to augment the wards with other stones.
Black Tourmaline
Smokey Quartz
Blue Kyanite
Jet & Amber together
These act to ground out negative energy, with the exception of the Jet/Amber combination which converts negative energy to positive.

To make the circle permanent you will need “repeaters” to keep it up. The best one’s that I have found are double terminated Quartz crystals. You can bury them if outside or, if inside, mount them in the wooden candle cups, the kind you find in craft stores.

I realized that some of you might not know what “Casting a Circle ” is. So
1: Face East. Say “Spirits of East, Powers of Air, Guard this Circle and all within.”
2:Move clockwise 90 degrees. Say “Spirits of South, Powers of Fire, Guard this Circle and all within.”
3:Move another 90 degrees clockwise . Say”Spirits of West, Powers of Water, Guard this Circle and all within.”
4:Move another 90 degrees . Say “Spirits of North, Powers of Earth, Guard this Circle and all within.”
5:Move back to the East . Say “The Circle is Cast.”

Back to Warding.
After you have cleansed the area you wish to ward, your next step is to cast a circle . As I am Wiccan, I cast a wiccan style circle, but you should create one in accordance with whatever tradition YOU belong to. The main difference is that for a permanent circle you use crystals instead of candles. These function as “repeaters”, keeping the circle up even if a physical object crosses it.
