… and, to celebrate the magic, it’s Wizards weekend this weekend at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival

The Robin Hood Springtime Festival continues for the next two weekends, at the faire grounds in North Haven Ct. This weekend, we have school day on 5/27, and the full faire for merrymakers of all ages on May 28, 29, and 30.

There are great things that happen every day of the faire, but in addition, each weekend has a theme, with specific activities that only happen that weekend. This weekend is Wizards Weekend, and magic is all around, with costume contests, wizards on parade and a dragon egg hunt. For more details on Wizards Weekend, please click here

…it’s Pets weekend as well as opening weekend for the Robin Hood Springtime Festival

The bud is on the tree, new life is everywhere and with the spring comes the Robin Hood Springtime Festival from May 21- June 5 at the faire grounds in North Haven Ct. The days of the faire are May 21, 22, 28, 29, 30, June 4 and 5

There are great things that happen every day of the faire, but in addition, each weekend has a theme, with specific activities that only happen that weekend. The first weekend is Pet Weekend, when you can bring your chum, whether furry, feathered or scaled, out for a full day of live theatre and general good things. Pets weekend at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival has come and gone. So has Princess Palooza.

Which means there’s only one more weekend to catch Robin Hood this spring. It’s this weekend at Bromance and Brew Weekend at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival.

Saturday is the Babes in Bodices contest and Sunday the Men in Kilts compeitition, both of which have excellent prizes; and Cu Dubh will still be rocking the faire with thundering drums and skirling bagpipes (not to mention all of the other wonderful entertainment at the faire)

and of course, drop by and see the psychics of Foresight, in our new improved location by the Castle Stage

Well, Pets weekend at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival has come and gone. Did you and your furry, feathered or scaly friend come to see it?

If you missed it, have no fear; there’s two more weekends on the way (and if you came, we’re so glad and please feel free to come back and see us again…)

This weekend is Princess Palooza with special events for the romantically inclined. Catch the vows renewals, the princess costume contest, and the dragon egg hunt.

For those of us who are not so royal, catch the thundering drums and bagpipes of Cu Dubh (they rock!) as well as all of the other wonderful entertainment at the faire

It’s almost here!

The adventure is back starting this weekend, and Foresight will be part of it.

It’s a three day holiday weekend, including Monday at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival . The faire starts May 23th and runs for a total of three glorious weekends. Please remember- we have a new home as we move from at the Guilford Fairgrounds to the North Haven Fairgrounds, 300 Washington Ave, in North Haven CT.

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and turkey legs.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

There are lots of lovely experiences that will be there every weekend, but there are also different special events that only happen on one weekend or one day, so you’ll want to check the website for the festival to decide when you want to come. (There’s so many interesting options, you may need to come more than once…) The first weekend is Pets weekend.

The Return of Robin Hood (Final Weekend on the Way)

All adventures must come to an end and the Robin Hood Springtime Festival is no exception. This is the final weekend of this year’s Robin Hood festival and it is a doozy. Friday is School Day (open to the public) from 930-230, and Saturday and Sunday run 11-7, all at the Guilford Fairgrounds at 111 Lovers Lane in Guilford, Ct.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

This final weekend is Bromance and Brew Weekend with lots of special events for manly men and the women who love them (as well as plenty of things for the rest of the general populace). This weekend, a special admission gets you into the Feast of the Merry, and all of us can revel in the bagpipes and drums of Cu Dubh. For more information on special themes, click here
