A little over a month ago, I did a post about the nature of personal energy (“Some Things Fill Your Bucket”) – about how some people and things fill your bucket and how some drain it dry.
I invited you to take a look at your bucket and decide whether it was empty or full, and how much; and then to decide what that was telling you about the life you’re living now
That’s important, you know. When you’re burning the candle at both ends and draining your bucket to the dregs, you end up burnt out. That makes it a lot more difficult to draw positive things into your life and leaves room for depression to creep in.
I saw a meme the other day that gave me more input into this.
“The problem with both the folks that think the glass is half empty and the ones that think the glass is half full is that they’re both missing the point…
The glass is re-fillable.”
Brilliant!
It’s important to think about what’s in our lives that drains our buckets and limit our exposure to it, but it’s also important to think about what we can do to refill our buckets for ourselves, no matter what else is going on around us
So let look at some ways to fill our buckets…
Catch you soon
