That’s right. It’s romance weekend coming up in a few days at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival, and you should be part of it.

Ladies and gentlemen both, this is your time to score major affection points with the person you care for in the romantic ambiance of the Middle Ages.

Buy your sweetie a rose. Compete in contests of martial skill. Snuggle at a show.

This weekend, Friar Tuck and the Mayor of Nottingham will perform free marriage renewals for those married couples attending who wish to participate. The Robin Hood Archery contest takes place on Saturday. The Fairest Maid competition is also on Saturday

It’s only a few days until the second weekend of the Robin Hood Springtime Festival, and you won’t want to miss this one. It’s fantasy and time traveler weekend, a special weekend set aside for elves and trolls and steam punk adventurers.

In addition to the wide assortment of entertainment and fun happening every day of the faire, there’s the Steampunk costume contest on Saturday, May 19^th, and the special Feast of the Merry (additional advance tickets required) on both Saturday and Sunday

We are otherwise committed on Sunday, but the psychics of Foresight will be there on Saturday, doing Reiki and readings by tarot, palm, I Ching, intuition and dowsing, and our good friend, Adam Latin will be holding down the fort on Sunday. We’ll also be selling copies of “Adventures in Palmistry” and “The Practical Empath”; as well as enjoying the amazing people and experiences you find at a renaissance faire.

In only a few days, the Robin Hood Springtime Festival will open its gates, inviting you to a world of adventure, romance and good fun for everyone.

There’s a host of entertainment and fun happening every day of the faire, but there are also different special events happening every weekend. This weekend, it’s the Robin Hood and Maid Marion look-alike contest on Saturday, and you’re invited to take Mom on a trip to the Renaissance on Sunday for Mother’s Day. (Watch for more fun events in the coming weekends)

Want an easy and fun way to tap into your own inner wisdom? Why not try dowsing?…

Starwolf and I will be teaching our class on dowsing from 6-8 pm, on April 21 at Talisman in Monroe, CT.

When people think of dowsing, they tend to think of a man with a forked stick in his hands finding the right place to dig a well. That’s one aspect of dowsing, but you can also dowse to find lost objects (such as car keys), check the fields and flow of energy, and answer questions by accessing your ow psychic ability.

We’ll be showing you how to work with pendulums and L-rods, two different kind of tools used for dowsing. We’ll also be showing you some kinesiology, a method of dowsing using your own body. This is a hands on class with plenty of chances for you to try the different techniques for yourself.

And as we put the shores of Lakewood Renaissance Faire behind us, we look ahead and see the Connecticut Renaissance Faire on the horizon.

That’s right. It starts this weekend. 4 glorious weekends ( including Columbus Day!) of knights in armor, saucy wenches, minstrels, jugglers, dire villains, hair-breath escapes, feats of derring do, and yummy faire food.

And an unrivaled shopping opportunity for all of those who enter in these hallowed gates. Including the chance to get a psychic reading by tarot, palm, I ching, intuition or pendulum by the psychics of Foresight.

“Adventures in Palmistry” will be available for sale and personal autograph as well.

Hi folks

Summer is for fun in the sun – for visiting new places, meeting new people, learning new things, and having a good time.

Summer is for festivals – and we’ve got a great one coming up for you…

The psychics of Foresight will be winding our way to Wunjo Weekend, a festival & camping retreat bringing together people from Earth-based spiritual communities to celebrate & learn about their wonderfully diverse belief systems in Wassaic, New York on August 5-7.

We’ll be offering readings by tarot, palm, I Ching, pendulum and intuition, as well as Reiki and copies of my book, “Adventures in Palmistry”

We’ll also be offering classes (free with your admission). Starwolf will be teaching “Wyrd Science” and “Hexbreaking, Uncrossing and Curse Turning”, and Catherine, “Dream Interpretation” and “Introduction to Palmistry”. There will be a large group of other learned folks teaching there as well- 40 classes in all over the weekend.
