Love Is In the Air (at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire)

It’s weekend two of The Connecticut Renaissance Faire and it’s offically Fantasy and Romance weekend (cue romantic music now) . It’s the weekend for romantics and for those looking for romance (but everyone is welcome. Even if romance is not your thing, there’s plenty of other lovely options for you.)

• Saturday is the Babes in Bodices contest  and the War of the Cupcakes.
• Sunday is the  Men in Kilts contest and the Singles Mingle
• and on both Saturday and Sunday, it’s vows renewal with Pope Urbino himself for all married couples

The Annual Connecticut Renaissance Faire  runs for five amazing weekends on Sept 21, 22, 28, 29, Oct 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20  from 10:30- 6 at it’s new site  at 14 Stott Ave. in Norwich, Ct.

New home, new story. Prepare for the adventure and intrigue of the court of King Henry the VIII.

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll  be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and turkey legs.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

There are lots of lovely experiences that will be there every weekend, but there are also different special events that only happen on one weekend or one day, so you’ll want to check the website for the festival to decide when you want to come. (There’s so many interesting options, you may need to come more than once…)

The Gates Open Into New Lands of Adventure (This Weekend)

It’s coming, starting this weekend! and we’ll be a part of it.

The Annual Connecticut Renaissance Faire  is back, running for five amazing weekends on Sept 21, 22, 28, 29, Oct 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20  from 10:30- 6 at it’s new site  at 14 Stott Ave. in Norwich, Ct.

This weekend, on Saturday, it’s Hero Appreciation day, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and active members of the Military, Police, Fire, EMS, Veterans and their dependents are admitted at the youth rate with a valid service ID.

Sunday is Norwich residents day- come in for youth rate with your driver’s license with Norwich address

and both days add up to Marketplace Weekend: Earn two FREE General Admission tickets to return again this season when you spend $200 or more with our merchants (does not apply to food, drink, or games). Details: You must turn in your special marketplace receipts to our Souvenir Booth prior to leaving Marketplace weekend. Be sure to ask merchants for a marketplace weekend receipt with your purchase.
