Pets Weekend  is Past.

Romance and Fantasy as well.

And the Time Travelers are vanishing in the rear view mirror

And so, at last, we come to the final weekend of this year’s Connecticut Renaissance Faire

All Hallows Weekend…

There’ll be medieval majesty and spooky delights all weekend long.

Saturday is the Day of the Dead Costume contest, and book signings by Deborah Ann Davis; and as the sun goes down, our Halloween Knights festivities begin (a ghostly event you won’t find any place else)

Sunday is our kids Halloween costume contest

and, as always, we’ll have the intrigue of the Elizabethan court, unlimited entertainment, amazing food, and astounding shopping, (including me as one of the psychics of Foresight)

Is your inner hero curious? For more information on this year’s Connecticut Renaissance Faire, please click here.

and then, before it’s too late, visit the Connecticut Renaissance Faire this weekend

.. on Saturdays, Sundays and Columbus Day from October 3 -25 at the North Haven Fairgrounds in North Haven, Ct. The Connecticut Renaissance Faire ushers in the age of Elizabeth with all of the color, pageantry, entertainment, intrigue and adventure that encompasses.

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and nobles, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and really good shopping and  turkey legs.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

There are lots of lovely experiences that will be there every weekend, but there are also different special events that only happen on one weekend or one day, so you’ll want to check the website for the festival to decide when you want to come. (There’s so many interesting options, you may need to come more than once…)

The first weekend is Pet Weekend, so you might want to bring your fuzzy, feathered or scaly buddy (and don’t miss Halloween Knights the last two Saturdays of the Faire…)

Hope to see you in two weeks at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire

The ghosts and ghouls walk the night  at the final weekend of the  Connecticut Renaissance Faire  at 14 Stott Ave in Norwich, Ct.

There’ll be dancing and singing, entertainment of types you’ve never seen before, amazing shopping, great food and King Henry the VIII, who always keeps things lively.

And  the psychics of Foresight, of course, doing readings and selling Catherine’s books.

Saturday is the children’s costume contest, Sunday is the adult contest. On both days, children can trick or treat safely and all visitors in costume can join the Royal parade

and Saturday night is the second Halloween Knights events, with extra hours beyond the normal hours of faire when the dead are free to roam our faire, culminating in an unearthly joust to be seen nowhere else.

It’s another wonderful weekend to visit the Middle Ages…

Five glorious weekends, from Sept 27-Oct 26, including Columbus Day, each one with it’s own individual theme and activities, in addition to all of the wonderful stuff that happens every weekend. It’s so nice, you’ll want to do it twice.

There’s only 4 days left before the Connecticut Renaissance faire opens the gates to 5 weekends of King Arthur’s Fall Harvest Festival, from 9/29/12 to 10/28 in Hebron , Ct.

The psychics of Foresight will be there, doing Reiki and readings by tarot, palm, I Ching, intuition and dowsing. We’ll also be selling copies of “Adventures in Palmistry” , “The Practical Empath” and my new book “The Lands That Lie Between“; as well as enjoying all of the wonder, fun and romance always found at this longtime, good time renaissance festival.

Many of the good vendors, acts and experiences will be available every weekend, but each weekend also has special themed events. This weekend is Harvest Moon Weekend, the opening of the faire. Sept 29th is Back to School day, when college students pay youth admission when showing valid college id. Sept 29th is also Heroes Day where active members of the miltary, police, fire and EMT departments pay youth prices for themselves and their families when they show id proving active service. The themes, specials and special events change every weekend, so be sure to check the CTRF website for current information on what’s happening and what’s going on.

And be sure to watch out for Halloween Knights, returning on Saturdays as of October 6th
Want more information on this amazing renaissance experience? Then click here.

Remember to sign up for the CTRF online eletter for news, as well as special discounts and coupons (including one from yours truly)

Are your days getting a bit too mundane and humdrum?

Do you need a little epic adventure in your life?

Have no fear. The adventure is back in less than two weeks, and we’ll be a part of it.

The Connecticut Renaissance Faire returns  with King Arthur’s Fall Harvest Festival, running for five amazing weekends on Sept 29, 30, Oct 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28  at the Lions Fairgrounds at 34 Gilead Street in Hebron, Ct, from 11- 6 with the special Halloween Knights hours from 6-9 pm added on Oct 6, 7, 13, 20 and 27.

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll  be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and turkey legs.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

The daylight hours will be filled with the delights of a medieval festival- but as the sun goes down on the Halloween Knights, there’s a chill in the air and things get just a little “eerie”. (Watch out for zombie knights and an after dark joust with flames, pumpkins and combat like you’ve never seen before…)

There are lots of lovely experiences that will be there every weekend, but there are also different special events that only happen on one weekend or one day, so you’ll want to check the website for the festival to decide when you want to come. (There’s so many interesting options, you may need to come more than once…)

Is your inner hero curious? For more information on this year’s fall Connecticut Renaissance Faire, please click here.

Hope to see you weekend after next at the King Arthur’s Fall Harvest Festival.

By day, a renaissance faire; by night…..some…. thing…. different….

It’s the final weekend of this fall’s Connecticut Renaissance Faire, and they’re pulling out all of the stops to make this one the best yet.

By day, it’s got all of the brilliant entertainment, colorful adventure, one-of-a-kind shopping and turkey legs that any fan of the renaissance could want.

It’s Bring Your Pet to Faire weekend. There’s safe trick or treat on Saturday 4-6. Costume contests for children(Sat) and pets(Sun). And much, much more. (Be sure to check here for details)

It’s even got the psychics of Foresight, ready to do your palm, tarot or I Ching reading in our new pavilion at the corner of the King’s Way and Ironsides St.

And on Saturday evening, Halloween Knights raises its spooky head again- just for the fun of it.

On Saturday, the regular faire runs from 11-6, changing into Halloween Knights from 6-8(at no extra cost to you!). And on the final Sunday, it becomes a reniassance faire once more from 11-6.

The knights are jousting, the zombies are dancing, and the only thing that will make it a better time is you.

We’re all waiting for you.

Come by and see us (…before it’s too late…)

The third weekend of the Connecticut Renaissance Faire is coming up; and as the days get shorter and the nights get longer, the Dark Ages are getting darker, too.

It’s time for Halloween Knights….

By day, it’s still a wonderful renaissance faire, filled with adventure, romance, laughter, food and shopping (and the psychics of Foresight, of course)

But, for the next two Saturday nights, CTRF adds two extra hours of adventure to the day, at no extra charge to you, our patrons. And for those two extra hours, the dead return….

This is something you just shouldn’t miss….

So, join us by day on Saturday, Sunday or Monday(Columbus Day) this weekend for a rollicking good time. You can find us in our new pavilion on the corner of Ironside St and the Kings Way opposite the children’s games

And, if you like, stay for the Really Dark Ages on Saturday night…
