Just back from the Hudson Valley Holistic Marketplace and we’re already planning for September.Feeling Energy

Back in the end of January/ beginning of February, I talked a little bit about how our beliefs could shape the nature of reality around us (for your reference, see Building Beliefs  and Building Beliefs- the Tools You Need ) and why it’d be a good idea therefore to cultivate beliefs that create a reality you’d like as opposed to one like chalk  on a black board.

In Building Beliefs – the Tools You Need,  I listed six different techniques I like  for creating such positive beliefs, and clearing out the ones that aren’t so helpful.

  • Watching your self talk;
  • Chosing who you listen to, and how much;
  • Positive thinking;
  • Affirmations;
  • Guided meditations;
  • Hypnosis; and
  • E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique).

In coming posts, I’m planning to take a look at these techniques in more detail, so that those of you who aren’t familiar with them can get  more of an idea of what they entail, so you can decide if my preferred techniques might be helpful to you.

In my 1/24 post (“Building Beliefs”), I talked about beliefs, conscious and unconscious, and how those beliefs tend to shape the nature of reality around us.

They do this in a psychological way, by causing us to look for evidence that supports that belief, and therefore effects how we view and interact with the world. They also do this in a metaphysical way, by setting our energy fields to a vibration that attracts more of what we believe is so, and other things at the same vibration.

So, if you believe you’re born to win, you don’t necessarily win 100% of the time, but you do tend to win more than the average bear.

And if you believe that you’re a loser….

Ish……

Let’s not go there.

Better to cultivate beliefs that support better things, people and experiences for you; ones that draw better things into your life.

But what about unconscious beliefs? How can you deal with beliefs you can’t even see that you have?

Well, there’s a few good techniques out there.

The six that I like best are

  • Watching your self talk;
  • Chosing who you listen to, and how much;
  • Positive thinking;
  • Affirmations;
  • Guided meditations;
  • Hypnosis; and
  • E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique).

Any of these techniques can be used to clear out beliefs that sabotague you or do not serve you, and replace them with beliefs that serve you better. We’ll be looking at them in more detail in posts to come.

 You know what to do – and you just don’t do it…

You feel stuck, like all the things you do go nowhere….

You want to let go of past pain or failure, but you just can’t seem to…

You sabotage yourself…

What’s up with that?

Many times, we’re doing good things, but unconscious negative emotions and beliefs block us from being able to move forwards in life. Negative beliefs and emotions can sabotage our goals and desires, and also cause physical illness( wonder where that ulcer came from?)

And they’re so hard to let go of…

But there is a solution.

(trumpet fanfare) Emotional Freedom Technique ( also called E.F.T.)  is an amazing technique combining tapping on points on your energy meridians with affirmations that clears these negative emotions and beliefs easily and quickly. It’s easy to learn, quick and easy to do, and works like a charm.

The leading source of info on E.F. T. is  Gary Craig at www.emofree.com . This site is an amazing resource, including free manuals and articles that teach you E.F.T. and lots of fun and funky ways to use it for better living.  It’s a good idea to visit and check out what it has to offer.

Sadly, as I’ve announced on two previous occasions, this site is moving towards shutting down. More happily, it has extended its closedown deadline for a second time and is currently slated to remain open until June 1 . I’d recommend getting there while you still can.

Gary and associates are  contemplating leaving some of the resources available online, but this is still being debated so I’d recommend that you get your free manuals now while you still can.

E.F.T. is a wonderful energetic tool and you deserve to get it for free!

In a previous post (12/20/09 ), I told you about a wonderful technique known as E.F.T.(Emotional Freedom Technique). This is a method of energywork that clears negative emotions, feelings, beliefs and phobias through a combination of affirmations with tapping on points in the energy meridians. It’s easy and fast to do.

And it works like a charm.

This technique was developed by Gary Craig. On his website , http://www.emofree.com, are free instructions and articles on using this effectively, as well as instructional videos for sale.

At the time of my previous post, this wonderful site was going to be closed in mid-January. I urged folks to go to the site then and download the free books on E.F.T. while they were still available.

If you missed out, I’m pleased to report that you’ve got one more chance, if you step lively. The deadline has been extended and the E.F.T. website is open until March 1.

This is a wonderful technique and a wonderful opportunity;and you deserve to have access to it. I want you to have this ( as I want you to have all good things) but I can’t do it for you.
