Catch Robin Hood! (Before It’s Too Late!)

Pets weekend at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival has come and gone. So has Princess Palooza.

Which means there’s only one more weekend to catch Robin Hood this spring. It’s this weekend at Bromance and Brew Weekend at the Robin Hood Springtime Festival.

Saturday is the Babes in Bodices contest and Sunday the Men in Kilts compeitition, both of which have excellent prizes; and  Cu Dubh will still be rocking the faire with thundering drums and skirling bagpipes (not to mention  all of the other wonderful entertainment at the faire)

and of course, drop by and see the psychics of Foresight, in our new improved location by the Castle Stage

Love Is In the Air (at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire)

It’s weekend two of The Connecticut Renaissance Faire and it’s offically Fantasy and Romance weekend (cue romantic music now) . It’s the weekend for romantics and for those looking for romance (but everyone is welcome. Even if romance is not your thing, there’s plenty of other lovely options for you.)

• Saturday is the Babes in Bodices contest  and the War of the Cupcakes.
• Sunday is the  Men in Kilts contest and the Singles Mingle
• and on both Saturday and Sunday, it’s vows renewal with Pope Urbino himself for all married couples

The Annual Connecticut Renaissance Faire  runs for five amazing weekends on Sept 21, 22, 28, 29, Oct 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20  from 10:30- 6 at it’s new site  at 14 Stott Ave. in Norwich, Ct.

New home, new story. Prepare for the adventure and intrigue of the court of King Henry the VIII.

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll  be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and turkey legs.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

There are lots of lovely experiences that will be there every weekend, but there are also different special events that only happen on one weekend or one day, so you’ll want to check the website for the festival to decide when you want to come. (There’s so many interesting options, you may need to come more than once…)

The Romance of the Middle Ages

Romance weekend is coming up at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire.

 And you’re invited…

This weekend, on Saturday you can be part of free vows renewals done by CTRF’s own “Pope Orbino”.

And on Sunday, it’s the finals of the “Babes in Bodices” contest and the Highland games, where men in kilts perform amazing feats of strength and skill by throwing  heavy objects around.

So, a little something for everyone. In addition to all of the wonderful things (including the psychics of Foresight) that are always available at faire.

You never know where romance might find you….
