No home calls last Thursday, which gave me a lot more time to polish up the current manuscript on Living in Interesting Times and get it ready for my beta readers. I:
- added a third visualization for time travel to the appendix,
- roughed out and refined glossary definitions,
- triple checked for errors, such as missing words and missing punctuation,
- did a third read through of the entire thing and polished as I went,
- confirmed email addresses for my betas, and sent out chapters to read at their convenience.
This manuscript has now gone on a vacation with my beta readers, and, while I’m waiting to hear back from everyone, I can go back to working on book two in my urban fantasy series.
