It’s the final weekend of the Connecticut Renaissance Faire– but it’s not too late to join Foresight at the faire for one last round of medieval good times!

This weekend is Pet Weekend. On both days, your dog, cat, rabbit, iguana or other friend is welcome at the faire (check www.ctfaire.com for cost of admission) Besides the chance to attend an amazing event and meet a bunch of new animal friends and their human attendants, there’s a costume contest for animals on Saturdays that must be seen to be believed. You might also want to check out Circus Stella which includes a team of talented rescue dogs, as well as their astounding roomates Jana Lee and Dextre Tripp, who do acrobatics and strength acts, juggle (including chainsaws), perform on the trapeze and aerial silks and are just all around nifty people.

For those of you more concerned with the season, this Saturday is the final Halloween Knight, an event not to be missed. First, CTRF throws on three extra hours of faire, at no cost to patrons ( because they love you..); and, as the sun goes down, the zombies come out. Stay for special shows, flaming archery shoots, zombie dancing, the Owl-o-Ween show at birds of prey, and the final Joust of Death after dark with undead warriors, flaming swords and lances, pumpkin bombs and all manner of spookiness.

This is not to be missed, folks. And its free with your daytime admission

There’s a lot of good things going on for the final weekend. There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll  be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and turkey legs.

And the psychics of Foresight, of course.

And, hopefully, there’ll be you.

Hope to see you this weekend at The Connecticut Renaissance Faire’s King Arthur’s Fall Festival.
