Spirit Bottles/detectors

A Spirit Bottle is a variation of the pendulum that is useful for detecting the presence of ghosts and other spirits. It is a 19th century version the infrared and EMF detectors used today.
To make one you will need:
1 glass bottle
a cork that will fit into the neck of the bottle
string
a small lead weight that will fit through the neck
drill a hole through the cork,
thread the string through the hole,
tie the weight to the other end.
place the cork in the neck,
adjust string so the weight swings free and knot off .
to use :
place in an area of suspected activity, the weight will start to swing in the presence of spirits.
