In my 1/17 post (“A Quick Manifestation Interlude”) , I told you a story about an experience with manifestation that Starwolf and I had while camping out at a renaissance faire, and talked about how our personal beliefs can affect our own natural ability to shape reality for good or ill.
But just how do those beliefs get into our internal programming, anyway?
They get into our heads, and our hearts, and our spirits when we hear them over and over and over again. And that’s just as true whether these are things we are taught by family or friends; by society and the media; or by the stories that we tell ourselves (and yes, if you keep telling yourself the same thing over and over and over, you are building a belief into your mind…).
The more often we hear something, whether its positive or negative, the more we program ourselves to believe it-
Unless we choose to teach ourselves something else instead….
And, given that our beliefs tend to shape the nature of reality, I’d think it’s a darn good idea to choose beliefs that create the kind of world we’d like to live in.
