The 9th Rune is Hagal or Hagalaz . It’s sound is H, and its meaning is sleet, hail and disruption . Magickly, it can be used to break hostile magick in the manner of a “short circut”.
Till next time

It is my pleasure to announce that my book “Adventures in Palmistry” is now also being carried at the Book Bower, at 386 Main St, Main St. Market in Middletown, Ct.
The Book Bower is a delightful little shop carrying gently used books and cds, as well as new books by local authors ( that’s me!). You’ll be glad you visited. For more info on the Book Bower, click here

All lovely options if a copy of “Adventures in Pamistry” is what you’re looking for. And, if you see me in person and you’d like your copy autographed, please remember that I’m currently looking briefly in people’s palms in order to write a custom signature for each book owner
Here’s your chance to get your hands on your own copy of “Adventures in Palmistry”, the book that put the power of palmistry in your hands.

For the past two years, it’s been my pleasure to blog on or around my birthday on the joys of getting older and of living your dream, regardless of your age.
If you’d like to revisit these posts with me, please check out
Happy Birthday to Me – Some Thoughts on Free Will and Time
Happy Birthday to Me, Again, Part II
And, trembling (happily) on the eve of my 53rd birthday, I thought it’d be fun to look at the possiblities…
A lot of people think that, as you get older, all the excitement and fun goes out of things. That you’ve got to settle down/ grow up/be realistic/act your age.
That you’re basically dead inside, but haven’t had the sense to fall down yet.
Respectfully, I say nonsense. If you want to live that way, you can, but it’s not required of you. You can chose, instead, to have an amazing life…
You can age with style and panache. You can learn to tango with Life. You can do new and exciting places, meet and befriend fascinating people, accomplish astounding things, live (and love) your dreams. You can find your courage, spit in the eye of doing what’s expected of you and live extraordinary.
It’s never too late to have a happy childhood…
Since last year at this time, I’ve published my first book “Adventures in Palmistry” and am hard at work/play on my second on surviving and thriving as a psychic empath. I’ve written about a lot of interesting things on this blog and rejoiced in the comments and feedback I have gotten from you fascinating readers. I’ve learned a lot about manifestation, and writing, and friendship, and courage. I’ve helped people, and learned better how to let people help me. I’ve read a lot of books, made a lot of friends, and had a lot of adventures.
And the best is yet to come…
The best is yet to come for you, too.
Tommorrow’s my birthday. A birthday is a great day to make a start towards chasing your bliss and doing something excellant.
And it would be my pleasure to share my birthday with all of you.
What wonderful goal would you like to take a step towards starting on July 22, 2011?
Now, make a wish…
Blow out the candles…
And happy birthday to all of us.
Catherine
