The Runes are divided into 3 groups of 8 Runes each (4 for the Anglo-Saxon Runes) called Aettes or families.
They are Freyer’s Aette , Hagal’s Aette and Tyr’s Aette . The extra 8 runes in the Anglo-Saxon Furthark do not have a name though I suppose it could be called Odin’s Aette for conveniece.
