If I could not fail … I would build an artists colony and surround myself with amazing, talented people so that we could all learn from each other. There would be lots of natural open spaces to wander in, contemplate, be inspired, and meditate. I would build galleries to house the wonderful works, and people would visit us from all over the world to see and buy our art.
[There’s a lot more detail in my head, but this is enough for a comment.]
I think art is dying in this world. I’d help to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Good dream.
I don’t believe that art is dying in this world, but that’s probably because of the life I lead and the folks I hang with.
I see today’s art as being like dandelions(my favorite flower), bright, cheerful, brassy and blooming wherever possible, whether solo in a crack in the sidewalk, or in a blaze of gold taking over a backyard.
You can’t stop dandelions. And you can’t stop art, as long as creativity burns secretly or out loud in every human breast.
I love the idea of your art colony though. And I think you shouldn’t wait. Start surrounding yourself with amazing talented people now, so when your colony’s ready, you’ll have the guest list ready to go

I love dandelions, amongst other things because they bllom and beautify/ cheer-ify whereevr they can find a toe hold.
I also love that expression of the human spirit can’t be stopped
Just like dandelions 🙂
