From the beginning of story, words have been important channels of power in the mysteries…

Beings of power that can be bound if you know their true names…

Chants of seemingly nonsense words that serve to focus energy…

Rhymes or songs that change reality…

Even in the beginning, there was the Word….

There’s a reason for this.

As human beings, we’re symbolic beings, and words are the tools we use to create and apply those symbols to ourselves and the world around us. By naming things, by defining things, by saying what is so ( and what isn’t), we apply the energy that shapes our reality and how we interact with it.

Pretty high-falutin’ words those, no? Well, walk with me – it gets interesting…

Words affect us psychologically. They also affect us metaphysically.

From the psychological end

words create our beliefs about who we are and what we can do
words create our beliefs about the world and what is or isn’t possible
words can be used to change our beliefs, making us more powerful or less so

From the metaphysical end

we can use words to focus energy, like a lens focuses a laser, to accomplish things we want to do
we can use the vibration in sound to shift the vibration in other things, changing what they are
naming things can give us control over what they are and how we interact with them
naming things can also help to attract them
the energy attached to specific words can make it easier or harder to do things
and lots more other fun applications..

In short, words can make us more powerful and capable, or less so.

Words can make things easier or harder.

And words can help us do things that other folks believe are impossible….

Because of the words in their heads…

More words are on the way

Astral Projection 2

Before I describe the process of Astral projection, a couple of points.
1:Do not get disappointed if you do not enter the Astral on your first try.Like any skill, it takes practice.
2: Many people upon first achieving Out-of-Body experience “snap back” . You start to move out and then BANG you’re back in your body, heart pounding .This is the body reacting to what IT thinks is you dying. Once again, you can overcome this with practice.

Astral projection Pt1

Astral travel (as opposed to shamanic journeying) is the process of sending the “astral body” ,the energetic duplicate of the physical body, out into both the terrestrial plane ,where we are now, as well as the Astral Plane . The Astral Plane is an energetically higher dimension where many things are possible. Just what and how you get there will be discussed in later postings.

The Return of “Path of the Empath-Psychic Empathy 101″(Class)

Dream Work- The Five More Minutes Technique

Hi folks,

Do you ( like me) love to hit the snooze bar on the alarm clock for “Five more minutes…” of sleep?

Well, now you can use that delicious snooze to access your psychic ability.

Got a question, problem or issue you’re chewing over but can’t seem to resolve? Want to tap into your natural intuition for more insight?

Let’s try the “Five minutes more…” dream technique…

For this technique, you need:

An alarm clock
A morning where you can sleep as late as you like
The ability to hit that snooze bar and go back to sleep
Enough fatigue to do so
Understanding housemates who will not insist you “get up now”

(Sounds like fun already, right?)

Before you go to sleep that night, set the alarm to wake you at a point where you estimate you will be rested but still able to drop easily back into slumber.

When the alarm sounds, hit the snooze bar then return to bed.

Allow yourself to drop off, thinking about the question you’re trying to sort out.

And watch for the dreams that are likely to pop up in those five (or six or eight…) minutes.

If you dream, you’ll often find vivid dreams with pertinent and useful information on your issue, once you interpret them (and we all know how to do that here, don’t we 🙂 ?..)

How does this work?

Having just come out of sleep and turning right back in, you’re still in alpha/theta or even a touch of delta. This is where your intuition hangs out.
Because you’ve likely just come out of dream state, you’re still half-way there and it’s easier and quicker to get back.
By thinking about your question as you drop back off, you’re programming the unconscious mind to access information on it.
By only allowing yourself the length of a snooze cycle or two, you allow yourself to go just deep enough to dream, but don’t go deep enough that you can’t remember your dreams.

If you do this on a regular basis, you’ll condition your unconscious. You’ll find yourself able to focus-dream the answers you need more consistently and easily.

And who couldn’t use that?

Rocks for Chakras

Another method for opening a blocked chakra employs either a carbon included Herkimer Diamond or a carbon included Amethyst . You can identify them by the small black specks in the crystal matrix. Placed on a blocked chakra they act as “crowbars”, opening the chakra so that it can be balanced.
