In medieval times, the word for psychic was “soothsayer”. The reader was a sayer of sooth/ teller of truths hidden and overlooked.
And this coming Saturday, on 1/30/10, the psychics of Foresight will be saying sooth at the Market Day at Birka, a medieval re-enactment event hosted in Manchester, New Hampshire by the barony of the Stonemarche of the Society for Creative Anachronisms.
Here at the marketplace you’ll see traditional combat, a host of people from throughout the ancient world, and shopping, shopping, shopping…
And us, of course. Starwolf and I will be offering palm, tarot, I Ching, intuitive and pendulum readings, as well as good advice, friendly conversation, and truly awful puns…
This event is a medieval re-enactment, as opposed to a renaissance faire.Participants are required to dress in medieval style garb and comply with the organization’s standards of re-enacted medieval behavior…
And it can be a whole lot of fun….
If you attend the Market Day at Birka, we invite you to come by and say hello…
And, if it meets your needs, sign up for a reading.
We’ll be there for you.
See you soon.
