Catch such sterling performers as Circus Stella, the Graces, and Zoltan the Adequate, to name only a few. Enjoy good food and amazing shopping in the ambiance of a medieval festival.

The psychics of Foresight will be there, doing Reiki and readings by tarot, palm, I Ching, intuition and dowsing. We’ll also be selling copies of “Adventures in Palmistry” and “The Practical Empath”.

Now we’re passing out of my year 54. Last year I wrote about dreaming big. That’s important- but it’s not enough. We need to not only dream big dreams, but also be willing to step in the direction of those dreams.

Even if we can only take baby steps.

Do you have a dream?

If not, you need to find your dream- for our dreams are what give our lives meaning.

If you do, though, the question becomes what are you willing to do to follow it?

And what steps, baby or otherwise, will you make a commitment to in the year to come?

Would you like to help yourself and others be healthier and have more energy? Then you should learn Usui Reiki.

Reiki (also known as Usui Reiki) is an energyworking system originating in Japan, involves using a divine pool of energy to remind and support the body in using its own natural ability to heal itself. Reiki has other uses (such as manifestation), and has built-in safety measures that protect the practitioner from doing harm or depleting himself in the process. Angelic Reiki (originally channeled to Kathie Valentine) is an enrichment of the Reiki system and is offered at no additional charge as part of all Reiki classes I teach.

I’ll be holding a Usui Reiki I class from 10am-5pm pm, on August 5th at Talisman in Monroe, CT.

Reiki I gives you the ability to help yourself or others within a foot of you. Class includes book, handouts and hands-on practice time as well as Reiki history, introduction to guided healing, healing and first degree attunements, meditations, aura reading/scanning, hand positions, how to give a Reiki treatment to self or others, and more.

Are your days getting a bit too mundane and humdrum?

It’s the Enfield Renaissance Faire, courtesy of CTRF, coming your way on July 28th and 29th on the Enfield Green in Enfield, CT.

There’ll be music and laughter, damsels and knights, villains and fabulous beasts. There’ll be feats of amazing skill and of derring do. There’ll be adventure and intrigue and romance and really good shopping.
