A few months back, Starwolf and I were camping out at a renaissance faire.
We had just climbed into bed in our booth when rain began to patter on the roof of the tent.
We looked at each other. Rain might mean no customers the following day, and, on top of that, meant packing up wet gear for a long drive back to Connecticut at the end of the weekend. No fun.
So we started to play a gentle manifestation game called “Wouldn’t it be nice?”…
“Wouldn’t it be nice” I said “if the rain eased off..”
And the rain slowed…
“Wouldn’t it be nice ” said Starwolf “if the rain turned to a slight drizzle and nothing more…”
And the rain slowed even more….
“Wouldn’t it be nice” I said “if t stopped raining altogether..”
And the rain totally stopped.
In the darkness, Starwolf looked at me. I looked him.
“Wouldn’t it be nice” said Starwolf ”if we won several million dollars in the lottery…”
And it began to rain again..

So what happened there?
Well, in theory, it is no more difficult to manifest a million dollar than a cup of coffee.
In practice, the beliefs we have have an effect on how effective we are at manifestation. If you believe that it’s harder to manifest one thing than another, or that manifestation doesn’t work at all, you create resisitance, which can make it harder to manifest something.
Because we believe that weather can possibly be influenced, a gentle manifestation technique (like “Wouldn’t it be nice?…”) can have an effect on it. Because it’s a bigger leap of faith to manifest a wind fall of that level, we haven’t gotten there yet (and the rain retarted jut to make the point…)
Have you been experimenting with manifestation and not suceeding? Then maybe it’s time to look at your beliefs and the resistance they are creating…

I love this one!
well, thank you.,
At the time, it was pretty funny. But it does illustrate an important point about manifestation loud and clear….

[...] my 1/17 post (“A Quick Manifestation Interlude”) , I told you a story about an experience with manifestation that Starwolf and I had while camping [...]
When you succeed in manifesting money, will that money be from another person (and ultimately from the US Mint), or will that money have spontaneously come into existence from some other source? If it happens the first way, isn’t that theft? And if it happens the second way, isn’t that counterfeiting?
Kate
Do not usually track down the ultimate source of money that I attract- as far as I know, most of it comes from someone else (although I have had experiences with money “just materializing” some place where there was no rational reason for it to be….)
In the first case, I don’t take it out of someone’s pocket or piggy bank, so its definitely not theft. It usually comes in such ways as unexpected new business, a raise that wasn’t expected, gifts, sales under unusual ways (such as I go to a party, and people I meet there want to buy my book) and so forth.
One could try to explain it all away as “co-incidence” but the frequency that this happens far exceeds anything by natural conditions or actual co-incidence, and the timing on this sort of thing is so connected as to indicate cause and effect
For instance, in the story I told, the rain did not stop or start eventually after our statements, but immediately- like it was a Hollywood special effect
And as for the second type of thing, the cash has been checked and is not counterfeit
I’m concerned that your mind is immediately leaping to the more negative possibilities on this. Is there a reason that you might believe that it’s not ok to have prosperity in your life?
