I beg to differ on The Tree- book of Saxon Witchcraft, it is not a useful book at all. Most of the stuff on Anglo-Saxon magick is made up with a Victorian idea of ancient England and glazed over the more recent made-up Wiccan stuff. If you found something useful in it, you’re going to have to defend it with examples. As an example of why I disrespect the book- Buckland uses the term Seax to describe the double-edged ceremonial blade. The distinguishing characteristic of a seax is that it is single edged (and sharpened on the straight, not tapered, side).

I find it a good crossover between Heathenisim and Wicca ( Most of which was made up as the various “Elders” went along.).
